We have fallen in love with Bansko and Bulgaria. The apartments were perfect and the local food/people and wine were lovely. We ate quite often in the restaurant just a few doors down from the apartments (towards the Church square) - my son age 6 had his first crush on one of the waitresses in there!. Found a great ski hire company called Banskosports - very cheap and with great instructors. The skiing was great and the children who have never been before, are now experts. Nick and his son were great - infact it was the perfect Xmas holiday, apart from the one day when I had a rakia hangover!
Anyway hope to be in touch soon as I think we would like to go again next year.

The New Skiing Season in Bansko
Great news for all skiers/ snowboarders!
The ski season in Bansko will start on 1st December. All of the ski slopes will be opened and all of the equipment will be fully functional, announced the head of the ski zone Ms Maya Hristoskova.
